Lounge Manager

Our client is a leading full-service boutique hotel in the heart of Lagos in need of a Lounge Manager who could oversee daily lounge operations.

Job Description

The Lounge Manager oversees the entire lounge experience: ambiance, service flow, food and beverage delivery, and P&L. This role serves as the host for VIPs, elite-tier guests, and business travellers while making the lounge feel private, calm, and flawlessly run with attention to achieving set revenue and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

• Oversee daily operations of the lounge, from opening setup to closing standards
• Act as primary liaison for lounge guests, greeting VIPs, performing guest-relation duties, and obtaining feedback
• Ensure the ambiance, cleanliness, and exclusivity of the lounge are maintained at all times
• Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Kitchen to deliver personalized, anticipatory service
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements quickly

Food & Beverage Leadership

• Responsible for all food and beverage operations in the lounge, including culinary presentation, beverage service, and in-lounge dining
• Oversee day-to-day service, drive quality, and verify standards meet guest expectations daily
• Manage evening cocktails, all-day dining offers, and private functions held in the lounge
• Ensure compliance with all food, beverage, and alcohol laws and hotel brand standards

Financial & Commercial

• Develop and manage guest-satisfaction plans for the lounge
• Monitor monthly F&B costs and P&L expenses, maintain positive cost management index
• Build the lounge business plan, drive upselling of premium beverages, and support loyalty-tier revenue

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Restaurant/Lounge management.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and motivational abilities.
• Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
